With over two decades of experience, Jessie Jacobs has excelled in various leadership roles, driving impactful change across multiple sectors. Her expertise in governance, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement has been pivotal in shaping successful organisations.
INVOLVE – DEMOCRACY NETWORK: As Director, Jessie led a network of over 600 organisations, enhancing their influence and effectiveness in democracy advocacy.
Has also helped build consortiums and other business networks with a further 100+ members
Has played a leadership role within 7 not-for-profit organisations including a local women and young people’s charity, a regional citizen media project, a regional business network, a regional health consortium and a national membership organisation
BRITAIN STRONGER IN EUROPE: As Regional Campaigns Director, Jessie mobilized volunteers for a national campaign to remain in the EU, showcasing her skills in campaign management and public speaking. Within other roles Jessie has also recruited and supported further volunteers to be actively engaged in their communities
A WAY OUT CHARITY: As Chief Executive, she led a charity focused on women’s and youth issues, overseeing communications & advocacy, service design and fundraising strategies with a staff team of 22 people. Jessie has led SMT’s and small project teams.
